Frequently asked questions

Which cut suits me? And what do the names of the nightgowns mean?

A as A-line: The A-line cut

The A stands for A-line cut, meaning all of our nightgowns starting with A are flared at the bottom. The A-line cut nicely enhances shoulders and creates room for wider hips. Our products are  adjusted for sleep with a loose cut, so simply choose your standard size.

B as Bust: more space in the chest area

B as bust means a cut with a space for bigger busts. These nightgowns are creased at the front near the neckline. You can choose from a more pointy neckline with a light creasing or a more blunt neckline with a rich creasing. The cut is a little flared at the bottom creating an attractive silhouette.

C as Casual Elegant: Loose, straight cut

All of our products starting with C are all loose, straight cut nightgowns with drop shoulders to create a leisure feeling. The cut is extremely comfortable and suits any body type. If you don’t like the oversized fit, size down.

T as T-short and Top

Products with names starting at “T” are T-shirts and tops meant really to be worn for sleep. We have both ladies´ and gents´wear, so look if the name of the product is masculine or feminine. The tops are made of various materials and we would like to encourage especially gentlemen not to be afraid of the cooling rayon or fantastic lycra - everybody deserves optimal comfort!

All of the tops match plenty of shorts and pants, and ladies´ stuff matches gents´. Whether you are partners for life, best friends forever or simply  good old pals, why not synchronize your jamies?

M as Mommy: sleepwear for moms, too

There’s always room for a baby at Enelle´s, whether he is in your arms or inside your belly. Cuts starting with M are designed by moms for moms. At first they provide room for a baby bump, they also provide quick access to breastfeeding and later on you can use them for ehm…actual sleep. The neckline with a snap fastener makes it quick to undress and breastfeed at any time (don’t all moms have skill with snap fasteners?), yet these nightgowns don’t look like they’ve been made for breastfeeding. Combine them with our nursing pads and little leggins and you get a perfect gift for a new mom!

Nursing pads

Make breastfeeding more enjoyable for you and help the planet with our washable nursing pads! The inner sides of our nursing pads are made of white antibacterial cotton. You can choose from thicker or thinner absorbing paddings and the outer layer is made either of nylon or waterproof cotton.

All breasts are different sizes, and so are our nursing pads. You can combine them however you like - for example thicker and bigger ones for the night, smaller ones for the day. The bigger ones have details made of reflective fabric, so you can easily find them at night.

If you change your pads in the morning and in the evening, you’ll need 5 pairs of nursing pads (of those are 2 pairs for night), that way you’ll only have to wash them every other day. Wash at 60 degrees max. No steaming, no bleaching. Simply wash them in a mesh laundry bag and then let them air-dry or put them in a dryer.

P.S.: While breastfeeding, you can put the pad in the other cup of your bra, so you won’t lose it.

Happy breastfeeding!

J as ”jamies” - PJs

Complete sets of pyjamas with top and pants begin with the letter J. As usual, ladies' and gents' names distinguish the female and male versions. In case you need different size for top and bottom part, just put a note into the comment in your order.

L as ”leggins”

All leggins start with the letter L. Many of them are "Mommy friendly", i.e. suitable for pregnancy too. But don't worry, they'll fit perfectly for every belly, pregnant or not.

S as shorts

We offer a large variety of shorts - or boxers, for our american friends - both in male and female version. Their names start with a letter S.

P as ”pants”

Capri and long pants start with a letter P. Many of them are "Mommy friendly", but as usually, all of them fit the standard body shape without a pregnant belly, too. Also don't be afraid of them, they will surely fit you, too.

Products with "mamma" in name

These products are specifically designed for pregnant belly and usually don't fit too well for a standard body shape.

What am I paying for?

Within Enelle we have a personal relationship between all our team members. We are not a big corporation without a face or a heart. The money we earn goes for example to better salaries for our tailors and engaging young people at their first jobs (for example the translations of our web to different languages). We have a clear conscience that everyone who helps create Enelle has a decent life, good working environment, they can pay for dancing classes for the daughter (she is really good at dancing!) and can grab a cup of coffee at a café if they wish so. This is important!

Our models

We are real people with real bodies.:) Our shapes are not edited at all and all things we wear do look like in the pictures.

Natalia is 172 cm  and wears size 36 - 38. Her shoulders are very wide (it´s a real problem, I can forget buying most of the blouses and shirts), she has long arms and since she is breastfeeding, full breasts (please, boobies, stay like that forever:)). She is wearing size 38 in the pictures, but could fit in a 36, if not her shoulders and breasts.

Veronika is 179 cm and wears size 38 - 40. Her breasts are full sized because of breastfeeding, she has a broad back and long arms and legs. She is wearing a size 38 in the pictures. Nika often chooses size 40 because of her bust and back.

Petter is 183 cm tall and wears size M. He has a shape of a runner and size M fits without any issues. As he often says himself: his physics is incredible. But sometimes he says it isn’t and he is off running and refuses to eat cakes.

Materials we use

We use a variety of different materials to create our collections. All of them are pleasing to touch, however, every single one is unique.

Jersey

Soft, elastic jersey is a safe choice. It’s a common material for casual wear, which makes our jersey nightgowns seem more leisurely. It’s a matte and flowy fabric. We used eco-friendly jerseys when possible.

Rayon

This lovely material resembles genuine silk. It’s shiny, soft and very thin, yet not see-through. It feels colling in the beginning, but right after putting on you simply forget you are wearing anything. This fabric contains elastane, which makes the nightgown stretchy and therefore even more comfortable. These nightgowns feel extremely luxurious.

Lycra

Lycra is one of our favorite materials. It’s usually used for sportswear or underwear. It’s a very elastic, shiny, thin fabric with great thermoregulation. It might feel odd to touch, but give it a try and you’ll find out it’s addictive. It’s cooling and warm at the same time, flowy, feels lovely gliding against the skin and the shiny texture enhances the luxurious look. Every modern woman’s secret weapon.

Poplin

Poplin is a soft, woven cotton fabric commonly used for shirts. The poplin we used also contains elastane to make the nightgown even more comfortable. Thanks to its ability to hold its shape, nightgowns made of poplin create an attractive silhouette.

Crepe

Thin cotton fabric with the characteristic purposefully wrinkled appearance. The eco-friendly crepe we used is very thin and very soft, therefore a little see-through. Pure crepe isn’t elastic, however, we used fabric containing elastane to make it a little stretchy. Products made of crepe are leisure and breezy.

What size should I choose?

Enelle nightgowns are adjusted for sleep, so simply choose your standard size. Except for nightgowns starting with C (e. g. Claudia, Cara, Clivia). These nightgowns are oversized - even more loose. In case you’d like your C-nightgown to fit more tightly, size it down.

Is it possible to order custom made clothes?

Enelle unfortunately does not provide custom made clothes, but if you miss any product, please, write to us to info@enelle.eu. And don't forget to follow our eshop, Facebook and Instagram, it is our passion to create new beautiful clothes.:)

Can you machine wash Enelle wear?

Enelle is a brand for us, practical people. Many of our products are made of fine materials like rayon or lace. All of the clothes can be machine washed, but for our finest products we recommend a program for delicates and a mesh bag. Of course, we do provide care instructions to each product.

Colors

Since the fabrics are natural materials, their color shade might differ a bit in time, in addition to that every computer screen has different color settings. We communicate with our fabric providers so that the fabrics keep the same shade, but small variations are possible and normal.
